Let's face it, when are the South and west never at risk and when do they never get storms in the storm season.
It's so frustrating because we used to get loads of storms but it's been like 6-7 years since we've actually had a storm at all.
What percentage would you say the risk is for the east Midlands.
We got a fantastic storm over here near Dublin last night. The best I’ve ever witnessed. The lightning was prolific. Akin to the storms ya get on the south coast of England.
Ive been waiting 25 years for last night to happen. When you say 6-7 years and your situated in E England (a place I’d love to be in for storms) I just laugh lol

What's the best chance we're going to get storms in the east Midlands in this next coming week?
South and West looks to be most at risk going through this week.

This is a bit surreal .
An Omega Block is like what we spend all winter hoping for and now unfortunately it’s come around too quickly which cuts off the easterly a bit too soon.
If the ECM is too quick with that evolution then it could work out well for the UK, easterly then northerly .
As we in Ireland always say each winter 'Whatever can go wrong will go wrong'.

Not comfortable until UKMO comes onboard.
It was right against the GFS and ECM with the phantom easterly in 2012.
Im actually sick to the stomach with the throught of the morning runs!

This is going to be another Ireland event again really bad feeling about it. I couldn’t even fathom another storm as strong as Ophelia.
Lucky so far it isn’t forecast to be as strong as her.

Must be that time of the year again. First decent chance of a "plumey" event here this weekend. Expecting Thundery Rain here with temperatures on the rise, not too warm but certainly better than of recent!
