    showers already ganging up to the south. skies look threatening on mobile. can anyone tell my the direction the showers in ne are moving? cheers

    A chance of thunder up here. Who knows we might be a little luckier than yesterday

    thunder now to the south. very distant! staggered weve not had a drop of rain yet today

    another cell developing right overhead. if the last cell is anything to go by itll electrify as it clears north. still thunder to my north from previous cell. its hardly moving! in fact the two cells i mention might be joining together

    nothing much here atm occasional distant rumbles to the north but the radar looks clear for here currently

    thundering to my north now with some angry stuff to the south on the latest radar. its so still atm :-)

    rather mature cell to my south now. expecting to hear thunder from it soon. rotation evident in the small developing cell above. edit: since then two rumbles one from north one south. very infrequent though and now very still!

    line of developing cunimb to my south. hoping it can electrify! its been lovely and sunny so far, but later this afternoon looks promising

    Not sure what to expect today. Plenty of thunder around yesterday but no direct hits. Seems an odd direction for storms to travel today (from SE-NW). Does anyone in the NE have experience of these type of setups?

    Three separate thundery cells today - one at 10:30am, one at 2pm, and one at 4pm. None hit directly, instead they gave us some lovely rumbles to the south before breaking up a little as they moved over. All three gave quite a drenching - lovely big convective raindrops Good day!

    Could be a good day up here today. I'll be working outside for much of the day so will see any thunderstorms coming!

    Oh I do hope this warm and dry spell can hang on into the first few days of August! I'm heading south for a short holiday with some friends! It looks good at the moment - average temps and drier than average conditions currently modelled for the SE for the beginning of August. I'm sure there will be some changes though! Finally, some promising weather

    apologies but im only on phone at the moment: can anyone tell me which direction the syorms are moving in? im heading back to a friends house in hull and there is plenty of action to the s and se, has any of it got hulls name on it?. many thanks

    Spell of heavy rain and thunder this morning, but we're out of it now, just spells of drizzle with persistent mist/fog.

    Thought I'd belatedly report a thunderstorm (weak) here about 3pm-3:30. It gave us a glancing blow and rather petered out as it past. I was working outside at the time though and got a great view of it as it approached - saw 5-6 cg bolts of lightning, and some reasonably distant thunder 3 storms for June
