    V active storm over here, moving across benfleet, slow moving, which is great as i think its developing a lot, cloud to ground and lightning across sky , big bloopy rain, very nice, drink ing pint in it at the moment lol.

    All fun, very wet here in East London (2 Miles from Stratford Olympic Park), its wet, and just had some hail, no wind just yet will keep an eye out, looks like some SNOW moving across our region overnight from around 2am-6am , followed by heavy rain/thunder 8am wed onwards, OH JOY.

    They used a term on GMTV weather "explosive cyclogenesis" ( often associated with major winter storms and occurs when surface pressure falls by more than about 24 millibars per day. ) New term for me to learn

    Storm after storm since 8am, nice thunder and lightning too.

    OK GARDEN JUST GOT HIT BY LIGHTNING..... Lightning and Loudest thunder i have ever heard sounded like a bomb !!!!! See the orange lightning strike to right of london!!!, that hit here in goodmayes, near ilford. Back garden . That pic is of the storm.... hit here, see radar east of london.... off to give the heart a rest lol....

    That beast storm dropped a bolt hit the metal wash pole in garden, that thunder and lightning was instant and like a bomb has gone off on your roof !

    East london / ilford has lots of cloud cover, but we just had half an hour of sunshine, now its very muggy again.... I think its widing itself up for another storm.... very humid.

    Storm is superb at moment here in goodmayes, ilford, essex really picking up with hail and loads of lightning.
