Just woken up by very heavy rain and very strong winds. Haven’t heard any thunder but can see there’s lightning not far away. -
Surprised it’s still just below -1°C considering how close that precip is.

Still dropping, -1.1°C. Quite a bit lower than forecast for here.

Thought that was the end of the cold tonight when the temperature started rising but now it's nosedived to -0.6°C after rising to 0.4°C not long ago. Shame it'll rise through the night.

Well the cloud hasn't arrived here yet so the temperatures already dropped to -0.2°C.

Just been for a walk and even though the temperature reached 6.2°C there’s still quite a bit of frost left where it’s been in the shade all day. Dropping away quickly now although looks like it’ll rise again later.

Frosty start after an overnight low of -0.6°C leaving a sunny day with clear skies. Currently 6.0°C.

Quite a big temperature drop here on the last hour. 6.4°C to 2.8°C in an hour.

Street lights stay on all night here. Not sure I’ll need them though. Still 6.7°C.

Another dull day with the only real difference being the strength of the wind. Yet another mild Christmas to add to the last few years. Hope everyone’s having a good Christmas.

Just had a brief glimpse of the sun for the first time in several days. Other than that, same again with cloudy skies and the temperature hovering just below 10°C.

Yet another drab boring day, and that’s just the weather. Dull and very damp as it’s been for the last few days. Slightly lower temperature then yesterday but still feels mild. 8.7°C.

Another drab, mild day although for the first time in 4 days I did catch a glimpse of blue sky for a few minutes this afternoon. Sat at 9.9°C at the moment and not moving.

Don’t know what the temperature is but it feels very mild here in Southampton at the moment. Too mild for my liking.

10.6°C approaching midnight says it all about the current spell of weather, probably around 10°C higher than this time last week.
