Torrential rain and hail in a gusty westerly.
4.8c.
-
Cloudy but dry so far with a light/moderate westerly.
Temp is a whopping 9.9c.
-
Overcast with the odd spot of rain and a cold south westerly.
Temp is 8.4c after an overnight low of 5.9c.
I'm sure things will improve once we get to March/April!!!!
-
Overcast and dull with light rain in a moderate westerly.
Temp is only 9.4c. Not bad for a mid-February-type day.
-
Apart from a few glimpses of the sun this morning it has been dull and cloudy day with even a few spots of rain around 1430 and a max of only15.6c in a light/moderate westerly. All in all a rather disappointing after all the hype about this weekend.
-
Cloudy with a moderate westerly.
Feeling chilly at only 9.8c.

A very pleasent drive into work this morning but one thing very noticable is that most trees still look like midwinter.
There were some in my local park which started to turn at the end of last August so any that do get into full leaf could only be for 2 or 3 months at best.
Strange times we live in!

A lovely clear, calm start after an overnight low of 4.9c.
-
A very pleasent morning with good spells of sunshine and just a light wind.
-
Well that didn't take long to fill in!
Now mostly cloudy!
-
Patchy cloud and sunny spells.
4.9c and calm.
-
The cloudy, wet conditions of this morning gave way to a much drier afternoon with broken cloud and some good sunny spells. A max of 10.3c in still a rather brisk westerly.
-
Cold, cloudy, wet & windy.
-
Good sunny spells until mid morning when cloud increased from the west.
The odd shower this afternoon but nothing too serious.
Currently cloudy and 9.9c in a moderate westerly.
-
Heavy rain and hail showers pushed on by a brisk northerly with a current temp of 4.9c.
Odd glimpses of the sun being so high in the sky give the time of year away otherwise it could be January out there.

Things definitely in bloom here!
Nottingham Uni campus (across the road from my office).
Thats a beautiful picture but can I please ask what that blue stuff is in the background? Haven't seen it for a while!

It looks like spring has sprung across mainland europe today with many places in the low to mid 20's.
However most of good old blighty is stuck with low to mid teens and only single figure highs across Scandinavia.
-
Tulips are almost out here too however some of the local daffs have pegged it already after being out for little over a week.
-
Cloudy and windy with the odd spot of rain, mild at 12.1c.
-
Cloudy and windy, 7.2c with a few spots of rain despite what all the forecasts say...
-
Cloudy but dry, 7.6c.
-
6.6c in heavy rain with some minor flooding on local roads.
Wind almost calm, amazing after yesterday.
-
Most of the mini daffodils in our back garden are out now with one or two of the bigger ones just starting to open as well.
Some in the north facing front garden bit the dust after being buried under two feet of snow for what seemed like weeks and our Forsythe tree is also only just starting to show (normally in full flower by mid-April) so this will be very late this year.
Everything still looks very bare as if it's still mid-Feb.
-
Another dull, damp and cold day with the midday temp just 4c.

An abysmal day with light rain and a cold north westerly.
Some very low temps currently in the North of England with my nearest met office station Bingley reporting just 4.3c at 11am.
