    Wouldn't expect to see anything from France or anywhere coming in. It'll all be homegrown and it'll be a matter of time before it all explodes. More than likely earlier than it did yesterday. Just a matter of time before it starts kicking off IMO. Might even see a line develope like last night. Just hoping by some miracle we manage to avoid it, but I'd expect we'll see the worst of it again and be smack bang in the middle of the mayhem.

    Crazy in Cambridge, so humid, haven't felt a day like this for years, feels 'explosive'. Think I managed to get about an hour last night. Probably the worst storm I've seen in the 25 years of my life. Just mental from 1 in the morning and went on till 8. Had the odd break in there for ten or so minutes and then fired back up. Not just average stuff either, it sounded like a warzone, proper strikes and explosion. Expecting more later today and tonight? You can feel it in the air. Wouldn't surprise me if it started at any point and just erupted. Bring on the bloody winter.

    Worst storm I've seen in 25 years. Started at 1am and didn't finish till about 8ish this morning. Massive bolts as if bombs were going off. Any ideas of if cambridge area will get hit much from now until about 1pm? Got an appointment somewhere and really don't fancy getting caught in any storms.

    I'd be shocked if we didn't see any today, seems near on certain now, which means that's the entire day ruined. Roll on the ******* winter.

    Nothing here, quite nice out now actually. How we looking for Cambridge tomorrow? Any chance of a bit of warmth or decent weather? Off out and sick of the ridiculously cold and dark days every time I seem to have something planned.

    Just started coming down quite heavy here. Didn't really expect anything today, so a nice little surprise.

    Got into bed, expecting it was done for the night. Had a look outside and noticed it had started up again! Granted it's quite light, but I checked the radar and suddenly there seems to be more forming?!!! Mental.

    Been going basically all day, since about 11am. Got about 13cm right now and funnily enough it's now got up to about the heaviest it's been all day. Few more hours please!

    Started a bit better over here now, coming down pretty fast. Not too heavy or anything, but just glad to have it underway!

    Ah, think it's stopped here now. Might be really light, tough to tell as there's no lights on down my street. Had a really good finish to the night in fairness, a few hours of some medium stuff, ended up being a few inches or so and settled lovely. Still being greedy though, I never want it to stop! Bring us more

    Had a really nice covering here, still snowing major lightly, looks like it's done for the rest of the day/night? Then the little bloody kids from a few doors away decided to come ruin it all and start playing in my drive way rather than their own, stealing all of my snow! Go get your own snow!

    Completely the same still here. The odd burst of it picking up here and there, but ultimately it's mostly soft and light stuff. Made a good coating now though considering it's been going for a few hours now. Radar looks like it's still swinging in this way too? Heavier would please me greatly, but more hours of this could still probably build up a nice amount that would please me.

    No real changes here yet, still really light stuff but at least layered the pavements and roads. It tried to pick up a bit earlier but didn't really last.

    Really light stuff started over here now. Settled too. I'd love some heavier stuff but a few hours of this would probably gather quite a decent bit. Bigger chunks please!

    So the netweather's "80% chance" for early in the morning is old and there's little chance of anything around Cambridge? Bit gutted, was hoping for a little bit more really, ah.

    Very light snow over here in Cambourne (Just outside of Cambridge), been like it for about an hour now, not anywhere near heavy enough to really settle on top of the load we had in the night. Hopefully it picks up a bit more. Expecting a BT engineer to come and install Infinity today too, knowing my luck they'll use this 1/2 cm of snow as a reason why they cant come out!
