This looks a similar view to what I had but I may be just getting disoriented, I ended up heading up to the Peak District in pursuit of storms, only to have to rapidly turn around and head back home after seeing what was approaching.
Located myself to the East of Chesterfield and saw a good barrage of CGs on the hills towards Owler Bar and SW Sheffield.

Drove back through town in some torrential rain, roads were pretty gnarly, a good storm, still seeing the odd distant flash to the NE

Caught a smallish storm just to the west of Worksop about an hour ago. Moved through very quickly but produced a few flashes and a couple of CGs.
I am now just outside Retford but trying not to get drawn further east as my main target is further west. I do have a bit of time to play with though.
Are you thinking the Western Peak District would be a good target area?
I'm down in Stratford currently but thinking of blasting back up the M6 later on

We don’t get supercell storms here, ever really. I remember a supercell affecting York a few years ago and a few supercells have affected the Dales in the past decade, but we never get them here. Just luck.
Eastern areas will always be more favoured for supercells, even though they are still very rare on the whole
