  1. Well i must be living in another dimension. it's completely stopped now lol
  2. Easily progress seems to have slowed to a crawl now.
  3. Looking pretty good out to our west so lets see.
  4. I'm here lol, nothing here. How high are you above sea level?
  5. Higher ground yes, lower no, it evaporates. I'm 128 meters ASL and harly a thing.
  6. I thought this band IS that main band, but came through much earlier than anticipated.
  7. Well, that front looks like it will bush in to the north sea, unbelievable bearing in mind that it was supposed to stall over the Pennines at best.
  8. Radar seems to be off tbh. Radar suggest it should be snowing heavily here but we are barely getting a flake.
  9. The first flakes start here, after the main band bypasses us.
  10. The southern flank of this band is decaying, lucky if we will get a great deal from this.
  11. It looks to me like the system is loosing it strength, less intense through Scotland
  12. Temp 2.5c, DP -0.9c so plenty cold enough now. It's on our doorstep
  13. The stuff to the immediate west of South Yorkshire is not the area to look, it's up on the Scottish borders moving south.
  14. Some very light showers forming just ahead of the front over the peaks, i doubt them reaching the ground though. Orographic lift perhaps?
  15. The front in Scotland must be about 100 miles more east that progged surely? It's almost at the east coast
  16. Fascinating times. Some of the progress north may push southwards over us. We shall see
  17. Front slowing in easterly progress as it starts to interact with the hills, bugger.
  18. Agreed, optimistically we may get a few flurries from the leading edge, pessimistically it will hit the hills and fade out.
  19. Still a lot of energy being slammed into that leading front though. Next few hours are going to be nail biting.
  20. Temps continuing to rise here 4c with a dp of 1.3c. Too warm
  21. Yes, it looks like the snow band will hit the Pennines/Peaks and go no further east. That block already pushing it.
