  1. grey, grey everyday i wonder what the weather gods would say?
  2. since when where you in my garden? it does tend to flood alot but never like this! the ditches usually take most of it away but they are full to bursting, lucky there won't be to much moor rain , remember they play cricket there in the summer! more like beach ball? you get a great view of the flooding from the castle then you can see how bad it is!
  3. yep , looks like quite a big storm looking as the radar, fantastic flashes aswell! i am getting my camera out in the hope i catch a flash!
  4. close! i was between the lighthouse and BIRLING gap area, we cut it short as it started to rain but the wind was a bit to strong!
  5. look like i will have to go to asda now! 'slaps bum' seeing as i herd nothing last night i thought we got away with it!
  6. there is allways an ongoing joke about hastings but this is kind of a reason why, the local 'celebs' http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZVxfEZGdIo then you have eastbourne the 'gods waiting room' of the uk, maybe get a job for when god has seen them?
  7. well apart from waking up in the night to a heavy shower, it is a nice and sunny morning! i never know what looks better overnight frost/ice with sun or just hot and sunny!
  8. the rain is heavy here but the wind is making it sound worse. but it is being blown through very quick so not adding up to much , say around 30 sec-1 min of heavy rain then drizzle. but would be better with a rumble or two!
  9. even though there won't be snow for the time being , looks like good thunderstorm chance for the weekend? that would lighten up the day!
  10. can i just say the weather warning the met office issued for the country on Friday looks like someone is having a laugh! they must know what it looks like? http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/uk_forecast_warnings.html
  11. nothing falling where i am and no fog temp is -2.2 and falling
  12. comparing 6z to 12z at +162 this shows how uncertain things are 6z 12z
  13. close i went out at 6.45-7am i was going shopping at tunbridge wells. so if you got held up then maybe!
  14. thanks for that i just got in. i went out way to early this morning !
  15. i am more interested in what might happen tomorrow morning , the met are showing what looks like snow showers from isle of Wight to Kent on the south coast between 6am and 12pm tomorrow. I know this won't be much ppn but it looks interesting..
  16. from what i have seen over the last two or three days i think the direction of the weather front is key to weather we get frontal snow or not. also the amount of warm air ahead of the system . i believe the snow will make it to the ground at say -2 850 temp because the dew point will be in favour but there is still a lot of uncertainty for the end of the week , one to watch!
  17. i think all the rain forecast will be weather for the fish.
  18. brings back so many memories! i always remember that road past the church that's where i live! i'm lucky the fire-station put grit down though , and you can't beat the castle in snow
  19. i think we will get a beast of a flake if we are lucky! whenever they 'get it wrong' they just go quiet but this time it's just funny! i live by the castle!
  20. well here is the latest the article about the weather from the sun... http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/4689557/Beasting-as-Arctic-blasts-in.html
