Need to stop looking at forecast we had light snow thought the morning on Thurs. Now all changed to rain from 8 am to 4Pm

I am not going to excited this time, If I don’t expect it to happen won’t be disappointed. Been nearly 23 months without it settling on the ground so another week wont make much odds.

No snow here again. I am finding this year very frustrating least last year never had 4 yellow warnings of snow and none have come of here.

Very frustrating in Northamptonshire as normal we always get it ramped up that we will get hit and get nothing.

i am just north of Northampton in Kettering looks like will probaly miss out as normal. had few snows shows since march 2013 had nothing settle amazing how many time it never reaches us in North Northants

We have still had no snow on the ground since March 2013. Forcasting snow in my area Tuesday from 9pm till 6pm on wed. 21 hrs of snow doubt it very much. We always seem to miss out in Northamptonshire. Boxing day the snow band went north of here. On Friday there was a forcast for snow on sat and sun didn't happen again. I am glad going to gleenshee ski centre in February.☺

Snowing in Kettering

I love snow and so do others on here we should just be patient. The weather in this country can change so quickly last week everybody was saying no more cold and this is another dissapoitining winter and now it has changed to cold again lets be honest nobody knows what will happen.

Got the lightest covering of Snow in Northamptonshire not even a 1cm to be honest. Other parts of my same town had nothing some 1 mile down the road strange.

I love the cold weather and snow like lots of people on here. I am actually thinking it could be like last year and we are going to be dissapointed if I think like this will be happy if something comes of. Got so excited on friday about the weather coming this week very dissapointed now.

Hope we get some decent snow in North Northamptonshire for a change. We did well in February 2012 6 Inches in like 3 to 4 hours and February 2009 like the rest of country had over a foot of snow We missed out in 2010 and 2011 when everywhere round us got Heavy Snow This morning we had sleet did not settle and places further South in Northamptonshire getting snow also places like Milton Keynes and Luton getting it. What wind direction would be best for Snow in the East Midlands? could anybody answer this question thanks Thanks

Where I live Kettering in Northamptonshire it is also a very strange place for snow. Remember as a Kid 87 and 91 being bad. Then Feb 2009 we probably had about a foot. We had probably 6 inches in Feb 2012. In December 2010 I think it was one of the only place not to get heavy snow it snowed had a light covering. Northampton 15 miles away had about 8 inches and Milton Keynes had about the same and that is 30 miles. It is a strange and interesting place we live in.
