  1. http://worldwillen.blogspot.ie/2012/11/summer-2013-to-be-next-global-extinction.html
  2. At least parts of the Arctic are shown to be thickening nicely
  3. That and the possibility of the methane hydrate degassing and as a result extrapolating global warming.
  4. I wouldn't be too surprised if the ice melted to near zero in April, May or June.
  5. With the really poor ice increase coupled with the high SST anomalies we are not likely to have much ice during the summer. What makes this scary also is the fact that Greenland's ability to reflect sunlight is excepted to drop straight down to zero and thus with all the heat from the sun being absorbed, there is little to no hope for the ice cap in the Arctic.
  6. Seeing as the Arctic is melting at a fast speed and if it did snow it just extrapolates the problem, does that mean that this summer the whole ice pack could melt resulting in methane hydrates degassing causing runaway global warming within days?
  7. If the above scenario comes true then the Arctic could be ice free within the next month seeing as the situation is so hopeless and with that, the methane hydrates could degass once we head into the summer with all the ice melted as the dark water absorbs all the head of the sun.
