Yea i agree, Sleet will probably be teh main focus. However im hoping the short time between the 2 fronts ( Clear skies ) will bring the temp down low enough to help turn to snow .

Another MASSIVE band of rain/sleet/snow is about to push up from cornwall, Im expecting large amounts of rain to push up from teh southwest then head NNW ( with the front actually pushing NNE ) As per normal i would expect this to steadly change to sleet & snow across many areas with lying snow already ( thus your cold enough stillf or snow ) Places that saw snow that shortly melted over the course of the day i would expect at most sleet. In theavy bursts this may fall as snow. This front has some very intense rainfall so i would also expect soem gusts and possibly a few rumbles as it hits teh cold airmass over the UK thus pushing the cloudtops even higher, this in turn may help the rain turn to snow with the colder air pushed down! Eitherway, This is what i think is about to happen.. Cheers Lynx

Been snowing here on and off all day.. somtimes changes to massive flakes then back to tiny sometimes sleety. No snow on ground or anywhere..

Actually its a wel known fact that BBC recently made a forcast of " -60C. " The fact that i mentioned that was not to point out that they HAVE done it, It was to point out that BBC make really bad mistakes OFTEN! Thus , was trying to point out that we shouldnt pay to much attention to them!

Ramping is overrated now The uk is becoming predictabe.. Just do the opposite of what the charts say and your 99.9% safe! that 00.1% is just the lucky get who managed to find the snow / storm..

The way i see it is: Its allmoving north slowly iwth a westerly rotation to it. Its dying out RAPIDLY as it moves noth , Thus PPN isnt moving. Any PPN heading for midlands is now heading for wales / irelend. Next to NO ppn heading midland way now.. I would expect london to have clear skies later

Fek all in glos.. Dont expect any either,. Havent had snow in ohh lets say 5 years.. So why start now? Checking radars it just seems to be dying out as it oves up! Band heading North but fading out quickly then moving west!

LOL you not been following it then? tell me it doesnt look like a halt? Either the air mass is t cold to push up or im wrong and we are all gone die from 3 inches of snow.. Eitherway. It looks like a NO go. ALl precip had died that was heading for the midlands and its also changes course heading NNW ish

that radar is a joke! It just backs up the whole idea of a flop!, If you check any animations, it looked goot to start with now, its gone! the front isnt even moving north anymore!

Sorry dont like doing this but wtf ppl. it seems to of completely gone! chances screwed game over.. The front has halted and sliding it wouldnt suprise me if the midlands ended up with frost!

I wouldnt even worrie about the temp.. The front seems to be struggling to move north.. i have a feeling it may never do this. If it does, all precip will of faded away! I hope im wrong, But latest radars tell a differnet story

OMG, looking at meteox radar and others.. looks like thats it.. Not gonna reach much further north than it is then slides west.... Game over man, Game over...
