The thunderstorms started at 2am and have only just stopped here and the sun has come out. Many roads around the area are flooded after 3.5 inches of rain! Some really loud thunder and frequent lightning, particularly at 6am. Looks like some more might brew up soon, very humid still and warm now the sun is out. -
A few heavy drops of rain here, sky turning increasingly dark. Haven't seen anymore lightning though there are some rumbles of thunder.

The sky is orange here too and the clouds look menacing. There were a few flashes of lightning to the south about 15 mins ago.

Yeah, I agree. The forecasts need to be a bit more detailed. (more use of pressure charts etc.) Would they be able to do this though? -

Yes, the wind arrows are good. This is what I thought the new graphics were really lacking, and this has improved them greatly. Before, you barely knew anything about the wind (particularly speed) but now the wind speed has been added it's a great help. I would still like more use of pressure charts though! -
