Hi everyone, anyone hazard a guess at what to expect in the next few hours and overnight nr Glastonbury? I've got open foundation trenches that have filled with 2 inches of water in parts this afternoon !! Has the rain cleared up to the west yet?

....I really must try not to get drawn in by the mod thread next autumn.... They're still at it wrt this ebbing winter but, personally, I'm sure it's futile now (happy to be wrong tho) but I have spent hours following various interpretations trying to learn something on the way, but in hindsight there seems to be so much hope casting intertwined with the more knowledgeable posts. I find it difficult to filter and understand properly. Sometimes you'd think the models actually controlled the weather the way some posters 'talk'. I love winter weather, but I also love the spring and summer more.

yes! heavy snow shower just went through near Glastonbury ....at last! Temp dropped to 2.0 degrees ....

Confused....1c at 7pm, now at 4.6c ....BBC gives a high of 7c for tomorrow in this neck of the woods (nr glasto) it just doesn't seem like much below avge. Someone tell me what I'm missing? I know MOD thread is all very excited about their ' Jam tomorrow' but after driving across the Mendips this eve where there was a light cover of wet verge snow, which isn't at all unusual in jan, I'm totaly underwhelmed so far. First ever post btw.

A question from a relative newcomer to NW forums....can anyone tell me if its common to see three (or more) SSW's forecast consecutively in such a short space of time?
