    Looks like round 2 is just forming near Brighton. This makes up for all the years without storms Steve is that a second wave forming near Brighton the first is still a constant strobe light to my east

    Looks like another cell trying to form after the other one so may stay up to see what happens to it

    Wow great storm Nearly constant flashing and saw some really good sheet lightning

    Will the ones just off the coast of Brighton miss and pass to my south or r they heading straight for me??

    right just got to wait for the other storms to come up from the channel that i can see are producing lightning and then go to my high spot outside the house to try get som photoes with the ipad

    yep just been out watching it it has since stopped producing lightning as often

    like the look of the stuff coming off france to the south west will they make it across the channel

    Looks like the cap is too strong at the moment as I can see the tops of them storms in the channel

    Just hope them cells out in the channel intensify when they hit shore

    Clear blue sky's here in Brighton with a line of covective clouds to my west nothing major yet but something could happen

    Seems like the one coming out of the channel island are heading more towards Portsmouth

    but i am liking that cell that is just crossing the channel

    just heard some thunder here from the cell coming out of brighton which missed me by a few miles but it is definatly high based as none of the lightning was visible

    storms are definately elivated the one from brighton only missed me by a few miles but there was some nice deep rumbles of thunder but couldnt see any lightning

    I know how u feel I live not far from you and are equally wanting a good thunderstorm.

    Telly want a storm not had any good ones yet they all avoid me like the plague so one of these plumes has to deliver

    im on a grad total of 1 visible lighning strike from about a mile away

    looks like the east sussex storm sheild is up to full power any showers that are trying to form die as they enter the area

    looks like frace and belgum took the best of the storms we were left with the dribs and drabs of it
