  1. ^^^^^^^^^ just watched sky news weather and it had that weather front stuck out off the west coast of Scotland not moving anywhere. Wonder who will be right ????

I sometimes feel sky news' weather is a bit more reliable tbh. Interesting times ahead though and as a heating engineer I'm sure it'll keep me on my toes for the next wee while !!

  2. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Think you need tae get a grip mate !! As I mentioned in the regionals, we live on a temperate island. Not Siberia or northern Canada. Our weather will always up and down. Keeps life interesting I think, too much of the same weather gets boring anyway.

Should come up here, we've plenty snow up the ski resorts I'm sure you'd be pleased with !!

  3. New to all this weather chat tbh. But forgetting all the long range weather forecasting from different model outputs I have a few points to make. 1. I reckon a lot of folks minds are clouded slightly by the 2 winters we had 09/10 and 10/11, which lets be honest in my 30 years of living on this planet have never happened before !!

    2. We live on a temperate island surrounded by water so the chances of predicting long range weather is going to be tricky unlike if we were to be on a big land mass where the weather is pretty much predictable all year round.

    3. My hunch is cold will not be too far away for us this winter judging by the amount of snow that surrounds us in our neighbouring countries compared to last year. That cold will reach us soon enough. At least changing weather patters keep us on our toes and make life interesting !!!
