    I do hope the met office forecast and net weather snow risk produced today and I don't end up with a sleety slushy mess. No snowfall at present, but strong gusts of winds.

    Well just looked out window to be faced with a definite thaw on yesterday accumulation. Hope its not going to continue thawing

    If the met office radars are to be believed looks like here in seaton sluice we could have some more snow for a time to come, with the exception of a few breaks here and there. The question is will it be snow or sleet.

    I'm 2 miles from Whitley bay and it has been constant heavy snow since 5pm. Had some thunder snow too. Will try and up load some pics Main roads covered. Very bad driving conditions and wind picking up. Has just eased off with the snow in last 5 mins

    So been snowing here on and off all morning, but significantly for last 10 mins started off with the very fine powdery stuff, now larger flakes. Looking out my back window can usually see the sea through the houses, not at the minute just a large grey mass.

    Really starting to come down now although its not constant. Keeps easing off for short periods. Winds picking up a little too.

    I have decided that this weather doesn't really know what it wants to do. One minute its stopped, then its sleet, then snow. Will just have to wait and see I guess.
