    Don't think so as it was forecast for much of the day, but get the impression it has kicked off a little earlier and headed a bit further west than forecast yesterday.

    Blizzard = snowstorm with sustained winds >35 mph. So, no, there's virtually no wind so it's not even a "semi blizzard". The fact is we don't have a clue what a blizzard is in SE England. I suspect "semi blizzard" is as meteorologically dubious as "mini tornado".

    Seems reasonable. Rain Today Premium showing snow between Heathrow and Swindon, then "rain/snow" as far as Bristol. I guess they're in what Rain Today is showing as "rain/snow".

    Yes it was, and it was yellow yesterday too. "Issued at - 11/01/2013"
