    SP - yes I think you are right. We are on the tip of the peninsula in Wallasey and below sea level so whatever weather you get we can get something totally different but as the crow flies you are only a couple of miles away - crazy isn't it?

    It's past it's guarantee Mia - so fingers crossed it will be covered on our house insurance.

    Thanks - we are fine. Will ring the insurance tomorrow - which no doubt will take a while cos the phone lines will be jammed. Hubby is going to take a day off to put something temp in its place. Hope everyone is ok

    SP - definitely bad here in Wallasey village . My house faces the sea with nothing inbetween so we have been hammered. My conservatory roof is leaking too

    I'm in Prenton CP but live close to you. The sky was blue 10 minutes ago and now its grey and the trees are starting to blow again. Been on other forums and loads have reported calmness and wondering why only to post again a short while later with strong winds appearing again. lol. But yes - school run time and it picks up - typical!!
