    1 degree in Upton, Wirral and just spotted a few flakes

    BBC showed no rain or anything over us in Wirral today but we are getting a few flakes and the sky looks really grey. I think I will go to work early and finish early just in case.

    Us on the coastline in Wirral seem to be right on the edge of the snowshield. Just watched the BBC forecast.

    Thanks Hot Cuppa. I think we will see some but not as much as what was expected. I thought though that it was very difficult to predict where snow would fall even up until hours before?

    I'm not even going to look at any more forecasts and just see what happens. We keep have a few flakes here in Wallasey. I am keeping everything crossed that at least we have enough for it to look pretty for a while and to build a big snowman!!

    I only look at metcheck once in a while as I don't find it reliable but in saying that each time I have looked over the last week it has showed snow for this week.

    Yay!! Park and then a takeaway so I don't have to cook, followed by some alcohol - purely to warm me up of course!!

    BBC weather is showing no snow at all !!! But Metoff and Netweather are showing loads. Must be broken lol

    I work from home on Fridays so will need to get my work done super quick so I can go out and play. I could even build a huge snowman before the kids get home from school!!
