No snow in Leicester. Is there any reasonable chance of snow here today?

It's started snowing now in Leicester (City Centre).

The roads are like ice rinks today!

40% chance of snow in Leicester at 23:00 (according to my iPhone weather app)

Snizzling in the city centre as well.

It's still snowing! My car which I cleaned a few hours ago is covered again [not to the same extent].

I really should have measured the snowfall on my car when I was cleaning the snow off it just now but it was a lot! At least the size of two sticks of butter stacked up on top of each other laying on the bonnet, windscreen and roof!

It's still snowing! That must be 12hrs continuous snowfall now?

Still snowing but very very light.

I'd rather it just stop completely than have what we currently have which is so fine and wet it may as well be rain. It's going to wash away some of the snow at this rate!

Flakes are still small but the intensity seems to have increased now.

If it does [hopefully] get heavy then I'm going to go for a walk. The current snow is a nuisance, it blows all over the place into your face. Heavy snow seems to be really quiet and calming.

Light snow has been falling in Stoneygate for a good few hours now.

I'd window watch and follow the forum than look at met office and bbc warning and forecasts. It snowed for 5hrs + on Thursday and no snow was forecast by met office. It was forecast for light snow yesterday by met office and suffice to say the snow was not light! I'm not complaining, I understand snow is not easy to forecast.

The snow on the ground is getting all glittery and shimmery! While it looks pretty, it's going to cause even more mayhem tomorrow. My car was making its own way down the driveway. Fortunately I got a bit suspicious when I looked out the window and it appeared to have moved around a foot from where I parked. I parked in fresh snow but the trail of the tyres has since iced over completely and I'm actually able to just push the car around with the handbrake up! Just put it in gear now which seems to have stopped it moving. Going to keep an eye on it during the nigh. Not much more I can do.

No snow for Leicester tomorrow according to Met Office.

Just took me 3hrs to do a 2.5 mile journery. Wow. Heard on BBC Leicester that the Middlesborough bus was stuck in traffic on Narborough Road so the players are walking. One player took the train and then ran to the stadium from the station.
