  1. It's been showery here, got one just arriving that looks like a storm, bet it's just heavy rain though lol.
  2. I would have thought so, we've seen lightning hit a football pitch and knock out half the players before, not a UK game, vid is on you tube somewhere. With all the health and safety stuff these day's I'm very surprised it wasn't stopped.
  3. Well I'm actually glad that storm is missing us sound positively dangerous. However some ac cas does seem to be drifting over from the south from time to time, probably left overs from French humdingers though.
  4. That's how it's been here since forever, fresher when out today, nice strong easterly breeze, but indoors still the same.
  5. We'll find out when it starts, if it does. Bedford already had a storm so we know it's posible it's just the where's we don't know yet. Looks unlikely here though.
  6. Going by my sky I'd say you are right about here, clear blue, no instability in the sky at all.
  7. Pressure back up to 1020 so unless pressure drops significantly with the front, it'll probably be capped here. Had my turn last night anyway.
  8. How far south of us is tonight's warm front now? Sky is starting to look convective here in the mid levels already.
  9. Nothing summer has actually happened this year, in the SE at least.
  10. It was cool lol, the bit before the main hit you, was what the whole storm was like down here, lightning in the cloud with quiet rumbles. main storm went to thanet. Loads of lightning for what seemed like at least half hour, then it just died. Got to be honest though for this little corner it was the third storm this year with that much lightning.
  11. Last night was wow where I was, lightening in the cloud no rain, only distant rumbles every now and then. It's the loud rumbles I hate, none of that here. Most people don't even know it happened. Got a ten minute shower about half hour after the storm was gone. Went over us towards thanet area. Now though it's still the same here as yesterday Temp 23.6 over night temp went down to 18.9 at around 6:30 this morning. Humidity still up at 71. very little wind. Don't think the cold front has made it down here yet. even the DP is at 17.6, which is a little lower than yesterday.
  12. Everything everywhere has died now, think that's the lot, cold front almost in London now.
  13. Might need one anyway, from all he rain that's falling. Incidentally it's just started raining now, the storms long gone.
  14. Not sure I'm expecting anything else tbh, guess we'll see. Does look like that cold front is finally moving east though, tomorrow might be a more comfortable day.
  15. Hope not I want some sleep, that was interesting, storm it's self hasn't hit here yet, but the cloud is over us and the lightning was going through it. Completely dry here.
  16. Same here wish I had videoed it, seems to have calmed a bit now.
  17. Can see flashes here in dover now, loads of them. A distant rumble now too.
  18. Another line heading for folkestone if it fires up a bit more.
  19. Temp still 21.4, think it's been held up by the DP which is still 19.
  20. I think it's that trough mentioned on the esfex forecast, (or whatever that's called), it should move east slowly if so. Does look like a squall on rainfall radar.
  21. Somethings just spooked the weather station, now says unsettled ppn later, did say fine weather before.
  22. I doubt it, however there's a line of showers building about a few hundred miles south of the main stuff to check the theory out with.
  23. On the will it thunder page it looks like it's my turn on Saturday. http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=wist;sess=
