  1. leave the troll! was a super morning today in King's Bromley, by super, I mean dry/even sunny , not super to a certain member though
  2. quote thing okay! cannot see ignored posts! but no moaning I hope from rain fans
  3. GFS and EC flirting with snow chances around the 2nd, much more likely now than Dec to Feb
  4. FI on GFS looking good, only though if we get snow, but miles more confident now, than 2-3 months ago
  5. well to me, the sun feels thousand times hotter in 32C, than 15C, at 15C, wanna be in the sun, at 32C, wanna be in shade
  6. doubt that Donald, feeling we're in for a cool low pressure summer, please the rain lovers like razorgRAIN and Bingham etc
  7. mini blizzards, definite smaller version of main beast, enough to cancel Stafford half marathon
  8. always feels warmer to me when grey/wet, wind just feels so much warmer coldest is when a clear night/sunny start, difficult to 'thaw out' after a cold night, even with a max of say 17/18 where as wet/dull the min will be around 11/12, so much better warm feel
  9. seen that ad on facebook, last year as date wrong
  10. if its sunny, it's always colder, much warmer tomorrow with Sunday being worse than Saturday for umpteenth time
  11. obvious thing for me, maybe not everyone but viruses of the 'cold' family, Corona, stomach bugs etc, I only get them between Nov and April, always a risk of having cold etc for Xmas, but no risk for my birthday 1st Sept feel chances of getting cold/flu etc are higher/worse with frost
  12. 28th April was wet, I do remember that
  13. Plumes generally do not last long enough, not that I want 43C, no way! everyone wants summer but a decent late 20's will do
  14. do we ever have a decent last week of April? definitely the most unsettled week
  15. I'm looking for warmth on models now, looking decent next week, least favourite weather is bitter wind with no snow due, a bit like 2 days ago
  16. In 90s and earlier, there would be less votes for snow, as we got proper snow then, think even I prefer summer over the modern w1nter crappy wet sleet at best
  17. and me Oliver, can't be doing with gales either, I always want a good summer, I do like heat but not for too long, 3 days over 30 on the bounce is enough, then I'd like it around mid 20's
  18. usually April, as it's known for cold clear nights and sunny days
  19. we've virtually already lost snow, low levels south! mine would be daytime washouts, they used to be a one in every 5 year event, now can be once/twice a week
  20. to me it feels miles warmer when wet/windy, this week it's been this bitter dry cold
  21. warmer next week with heavy rain, massive difference to the feel,
