    The low is passing to our south I belive and as it does it wraps around least thats what I have seen when looking at lows before. So it has time to slow down and start to move more easterly as it passes through. I am no expert tho still learning.

    Showers can give massive top ups sometimes the low is still really close to us so you never know. I lost a days pay tho not seem M4 like it was this morning in my lifetime do you think a new winter trend is starting?

    Still tho January has been a good close no matter what next month holds if feb is back to normal I dont see it as a terrible thing its nice when its sesonal like this back to the good old days.

    It didnt seem to stall tho, moving at a rapid speed from channel it was very exciting I did a video of my attempt to get to work this morning on the M4

    Yes there is inbound from channel but heavy shower bursts by looks of it.

    Well I tried to make it to work, M4 Closed so I only got as far as Pyle and its really still comming down. Main band wont arrive until 9pm???? There is a lot more of this to come?

    still doing a fair speed inwards tho, red colours on radar now over plymouth but still looks a bit thin towards us is it further south that 1st thought. This is amazing tho like xmas

    Risen here to 3.5oC still -2 dew point tho and band is just reaching here. If its snow now that be it for sure. It should have started in swansea already

    Looking at radar I am only about 30 mins away so i rekon start should be here about midnight at the current speed so sod it im staying awake.

    I just had a look on the M5 mortorway cameras and its raining right down south to be expected but dry further north. I think watching those will be a good indication of whats in store for those of us in the swansea area this site is really good if you click on station select. http://www.wundergro...57&sp=INEATHPO2 bit screwed up on wind direction tho says its comming from North not SE but shows 3oC here 65m above sea level.

    Front seems to be moving fairly rapidly to thought it was supposed to be slowing right down not seen evidance of this yet traveling about 20 miles every 5 mins

    I got that exact problem myself, if I stay awake and something goes wrong im screwed but I want to see the start so I can judge if I should "attempt" the journey

    I think a lot depends on how slow the front moves through, truth be told if it does stall or move slowly it will be a proper dumping just of the coast where I would have thought renewed ppm from channel will keep things going. Local Authority had plenty of warning so major roads should be passable with care. M4 defo should be and if it isnt they need shooting.

    Wow people where right, temp just dropped to 2oC in space of 10 mins now excitment defcon 5 all of you in west have faith the wind chill is comming your way. it was 4.8oC here an hour ago.

    Termp down to 2.9oC here now , wind comming from NE (3mph) -2.5 Dew Point and that NAE is a massive upgrade from yesterday showing only sleet for most of west wales. Looking at charts tho adlantic is gonna win by next weekend but what a finish I have a St Bernard dog to so if anyone needs milk in the barrel let me know and I send her on her merry way. But I have to get to work in Rhondda at 6:30am or I dont get paid so im going in no matter what

    Yea latest met has heavy rain here now to for 1st half of the night, which means ground be wet when it does snow if it does hehe. Ohh so changable at the moment. Monday is a sleet event here according to met. Dont think I be sleeping much either now

    Looks like things are hotting up in the bristol channel with showers popping up suddenly thats a very good sign I dont have rain snow radar tho does anyone else

    Strange thing is its dead silent outside wind wise, do you think the sudden wind gush will be a rapid event.
