    Yes, ukmo, epic,if we miss snows,24/48hrs, were, on for some perhaps crippling falls,chunk of polar vortex +144, wants to visit,wrapped in quite intence L,P....BLIZZARDS.

    Word of the day MARGINAL, as susspected for our part of the uk, things are on a knifes edge át present.met,office slowly giving hints of poss upgrades, anywhere south of say london and things v,unclear of precip. In form of snow all needs watching with án eagle eye.

    as again,for uk,as án island, prone to zonal weather,(atlantic) driven snow is very hard predict, and usualy carries flash warnings ......to which we will see..;-)..LOL.

    I think the overall picture needs addressing here.this is a developing situation, with upgrades and or downgrades inevitable, and remembering,precip,in the form of snow is by far the hardest precip, even for the most seasoned forecaster,my view is with all in the reliable, and upper air temps, in our part, most if not all will be falling white. But with bigger doubts(as always) raised for southern coastal regions.

    .yes, seem to shut the schools very easy round here at the merest, hint of snow my kids already expecting it :-0. But latest output(and previous) does have us primmed realy, for at least mod,snowfall,and my gut feeling,is perhaps, upgrades,will soon be issued, as the second band míves through our region,perhaps stalling somewhat, and maybe pepping,up(intensifying).

    And probably, will change...would be good to get some minus eight upper temps right across the south east.still looking marginal to say the least, but confident on the right synoptics SOON...

    Can, see the magic, RED,ALERT, from the met being issued for our region, in the next 2/4days...in regards SNOWFALL....:-)

    Morning, well overnight output, has added weight to snow prospect, for our region, with quite impressive 850hpa, for south east plenty off precip chance in the form of the brunt bearing(perhaps) on the side of both snowfall white stuff, with the south east lookin and indeed lower temps, late monday night into tuesday is looking on course for a decent snow,event.with maybe substantial accum,s in and around south east, plenty, to be looking for....:-)

    GFS,UKMO,GEM.downgrdes of sorts this morning,in regards prolonged cold, and uppers and the like,with even things suggs, further east,on output. This exites myself,minor blips i feel before much stronger signals v,soon.i feel this is the models prep in agree of longeveity, and perhaps deeper set cold for our shores....sure ecm will not be budging..

    Seen, enough ön12z out to 120, good improv, think we can expect further verification, ön18z this evening...BETTER..

    As, i have said, some days ago, i feel, after viewing, of both the18z, and poss 0z, we may well end up with the halfway house scenario, say between gfs/ecm....although further i also would,nt be shocked by yet more unfolding dramas....happy viewing.

    Well either the gfs, is immenent for a MAJOR flip,or most (if not all other output) has gone completely bonkers...think the earlier...be a very interesting 12z..

    . Always seems to be that way with output confusion in regards to Greenland...hopeful tomorrow all questions,and doubts WILL be answered!!!

    Certainly worse on the18z, shortwaves de, of Greenland, are not good viewing, át +138....????

    Not in the reliable BUT ecm át 192, is a sight of beauty....

    Good stuff from ecm, thus far, plenty of snowy outcomes likely, and the Chase of all impotant heights a greeny, still on.

    Gfs,12, again imo over keen ön atlantic. Very interesting Ecm this evening all to play for, thats for sure.
