  1. Well shes primmed for the estuary,Its whether she runs out of puff before making it??
  2. Yes wacthing developments with great intrest. The snakes head rearing...but can it release the venom?.if it comes to fruition could be the shock of the winter. !!!!
  3. The weather in the uk is most unpredictable, and anything is possible.thats why we are indeed ön forums such as this.some would do well to remember!!!!:.
  4. We need not forget either here, although unlikely, as the large atlantic lp, comes up against the now well established cold, more so eastern side uk.as battle takes place the system could become less proggresive, and stall a little, where, this could occur, there could be massive snowfall.a shot in the preverb, dark but easily possible. Could be intresting???!!!:
  5. Well now looking as if the block will hold for a spell of snow even for south east, through friday before atlantic breaks Its down. Then flooding becomes the concern. Could be several hours of snow. But Its highly possible winter will be back some point in feb. With small signals, even now showing in latter stage output. One to watch over coming days.
  6. Just started getting heavier..!!! And along with gusty winds...
  7. A crying shame though, current radar is looking for some good falls, not so far, away from us. A case of so near yet so far from this one.
  8. yes,i see on radar, what form is falling(precipitation)?.cold rain? But as regarding the ever craved snow, i think its safe to say now apart from those reading westward,it game over.with at best light flurry or two, west, of the overall region :-(.
  9. Lots of posts regarding temps/dew points etc, by the time front reaches?????,unless your ön the wrong thread, or, looking somwhere quite different, i wont come into play the front will only effect extreme west of the region. And even there precip will prob, be no more than nuicance value.....
  10. Latest met, update(lrf) still goes firmly with the cold reload, in around 12days.with a return to below av,temps.and kora of suggest for at least, several chances for further snowfall.intresting model viewing from friday onwards i susspect...a mild blip of sorts one would think!!!!
  11. i admire, your antii.d direction i admire your anti sipation, However , think as front moves ever further inland, the front will be dragged ever further west, even pivot somewhat. With factors such as wind direction non favourable this time.with even the western most part of us struggling, to see any form of precip, in most any form....not this time i feel...
  12. well, i hope your correct However with more or less a direct easterly in our part and no real guts in the reasonably small lp just cant see much progression eastward ön this one....
  13. Have a funny feeling the breakdown will come rather quick...and perhaps without even a transitional event for our part....in rains the atlantic friday onwards.lets just see what MAY, show in ouput in coming days, perhaps some, signals for early feb???!!!
  14. If the met,Å‘ lattest live forecast has it correct then snow will fall from say reading, westward.with dreary overcast sky,s,for the rest of us.....
  15. She continues todeliver, still pumping, 4/5cms, additional accum now.still think low countrys/ france has more to offer!!!
  16. Yes certainly, looking, good for smashing, the expected 2/5,cms, as thought seems a good pep, is/will occur as front land bound....some suprises, in regards accumulations, maybe ön cards..all added with many hours of falls yet to come!!!!
  17. Snowing steady now, covering, that thawing, from yesterday.and topping, that laid already.....
  18. Sundays event well ön course for cross region falls, still looks like kent, Sussex ,and east of london may fair best, but i think being,+24, away Its game, on for, most if not all....still uncertainty with poss, accumulations....could increase, if front peps, as becomes land bound..:-)
  19. Just had a rather hefty flurrying, another 2 cms top up also just checked ecm output ....:-).
  20. Finaly, heavy snow eases, but still flurrying, not measured, again but id have to say 13/15 cms, higher in drifted parts.sunday should be interesting.
