funny how the GFS this time yesterday was the shining light and ECM the party pooper how things have changed though all is not lost lost ..I feel we should concentrate on this saturday and sunday best chance of snow in my area since December 2010!! And i more than happy with that.............. short wave or no short wave at t96!!!

cheers guys .....anybody have any gut feelings on this GFS run....?? I noticed that weather forecast on city forecasts on other weather sites are showing increases temps to 8 c in my area, after monday ...could this be due to this mornings GFS run ? They are in all honesty pretty useless after 3 days .......

Afternoon all .........new to this model watching game and I know i wont be in for as much fun as yesterday!! But I can hope!!!! What time does the drama begin? Gfs (12z)?? I am aware the ECM 12z kickS off at 6pm

can anybody give me roughtly the chances of seeing the whitestuff in south east wales this weekend after these amazing model outputs?? amazing Day of model watching best i can remember!! Just wish the M office would back these charts up with some sort of forecast!!

As a canadian living in south east wales I am very excited with the current model runs ....I have been reading through the thread since 15.00 and its got better and better. The Ecm was a real cliff hanger but really chuffed to se it agree with the GFS models of the last few days. I must say its GFS 1 ECM O on this upcoming event. As a novice at reading the models in any great detail can anyone tell what the chances are of seeing the white stuff on the weekend based on the current model outputs ? would be gutted to miss out !! PS left trouser leg** off with met off etc for being so scared to put their necks on the lie a bit more!!
