I noticed from the FAX charts +96hrs that it would not be very nice around Iceland, By the looks of things that is going to be some storm. Glad it is not coming here, they are used to that kind of thing in Iceland. They even miss small volcanic eruptions because of it LoL
Is this end of Autumn going to remain stormy I wonder.
Not for the southeast. Will turn quite warm for us until end of month except 24-26th. a little bit windy around those dates.

Morning all, hope you are all fit and well.A breezy bright and lovely morning, today's adventure is a trip to bluewater, can't wait, we should be there when the doors open and if I get my way by home by 11:15. Only got to get 1 Xmas present for 1 of the grandchildren.I am really enjoying having grandchildren, especially the spoiling and getting them overexcited just prior to handing them back to my kids :-) its my revenge for all the time my kids where naughty, argumentative and didn't do what they where asked. Its funny how things repeat themselves from one generation to the next, with our kids its the finger wagging and discussion in the car, prior to entering the nanny's house all about how to behave at dinner etc, and I am proud to say just like their parents at their age they totally ignore everything they are warned not to do or touch :-).As they say revenge is a dish served cold, and our grand kids are expert at it, although just sometime granddad does assist them.
Lol. Great post and very true!

This might put you off your breakfast, tea and dinner, late night porn from my garden - graphic slug sex! - in terms of making it weather related, I guess they aren't expecting cold weather anytime soon as they will both no doubt be off to lay eggs in few days. Don't have nightmares!
Lol. Brilliant.

Ah it's not real cold though, I want my Ice floes in the north sea
On a serious note the weather looks distinctly November like for the foreseeable, raging vortex and interchanging mild/cool sectors as low pressure sweeps by.
If it does come off it will be short lived.. interesting bit is if we get the Very Warm end to November. Nature has a funny way of following heat with cold.

CAPTAIN. Frosty just posted in the model Thread. He might have looked in my crystal ball. Lol.

Saving mine for later
Computer says no
Lol.

Which month?
This Month Coast.
-
Just looked at my crystal ball. Could turn colder with the chance of snow for east part of england between 7th-10th. Then second half of the month turns very warm for the south east.

Evening All. Taking my daughter to watch Maidstone utd play in the cup tonight. A little bit chilly ouside, i think i will make her wear her salopettes, to keep her warm. She's a footy nut, 8 years old and plays in a girls team. Could be the first night out with the wooly hat.

the met office's cray supercomputer was excellent.
-
There are now met office amber warnings for sun night & monday for the southern half of england and wales, gusts of 60-80 mph and a spell of heavy rain..that's no downgrade, whatever the gfs shows, I believe the met office, not the gfs.
The eye of the storm could be over Normandy. We will still be hit pretty bad down the southern half of england.

probably James Madden. it might cost you £9.99 to view his forecast. http://www.exactaweather.com/
but if you really want to see weather related fiction, 'The Day After Tomorrow' is only £2.94 on Amazon.......
No not Madden, he has more credabilty than him.
-
Not snow but storm force winds and torrential rain.

right i have tried looking for the post on this thread but cant find it but I remember someone posting videos of some young guy giving his forecast of what we might see in the run up and during winter where he was predicting a CAT 2-3 hurricane during October and we all had a laugh at him.
whats the bets the wee man is sitting at home having kittens just now with the recent GFS run lol
He's not the only one. Another forecaster has predicted a devastating storm between the 21-23 for Scotland and Northern england.

Thanks for your reply John.hi mate
welcome to the mad house
to tell the truth i do not follow him
however as weather forecasting is not an exact science
you cannot say whether his methods are good or bad
open minded would be my response
