    Laughing .....just as we dropped we are now on the rise again - from 3.3 to 3.9 in a couple of mins. DP and WB don't want top be left behind so are playing follow the temp 3.5 and 3.7!

    Interesting things dropping here quicker than .....well....Temp down to 3.5 from 4.1 10 minutes ago, DP down to 3.2 and WB at 3.4. Just had a brief quick rain shower

    3.9 with DP at 3.6 just now .......some rain showers through the afternoon , sky looks promising but we need the temp and DP to fall a bit yet for snow down here.

    Very light cover of snow in Eastbourne, temp stable at 0.8 and DP 0.5

    Down to -1.8 with DP -2 now after reaching 5 just after midday. Just a generally wet miserable day today on the Coast!

    Temp rising fast here, up to 2.1 from -3.7 at 6AM. Clear blue sky DP 2, pressure stable at 1013

    After a cold Sunday, the temperature quickly started to rise from about 20.00, this has continued overnight and now shows as 9.5. Pressure has dropped quite quick as well.

    temp is now on the rise, dropped back to - 1.8 now and DP down to -2.2

    Yeap, male and female, 4 and 5. Agree , I have had rescue GSD's for many years. still falling here now at -2.8

    Minus 2.6 in Eastbourne, dropped 1 degree in the last hour, DP at minus 3.5

    No overnight frost on the coast, dipped to 0.3 overnight. steady climb this Am to 4 degrees in light winds at 3 - 6 MPH under a clear blue sky.

    Barmy 4.8 on the South Coast and fairly steady, DP at 3.7 and thankfully very gentle winds!

    Very little Rain just here on the beach, nothing I can measure now for 24 hours! Wind is still so strong, gusting to 30mph again. so strong the dogs are now hiding behing the bush when nature calls so they dont get blown over!! Pressure on the up since 22.00!

    Happy New Year all.....I lurk more than post and thank you all for all the info and fun in 13......looking forward to a change to some proper winter weather soon!!

    Morning - well we made it through with no damage - dogs refused to go out so been cross legged all night! Biggest gusts here were just around 1.30, plenty of rain but now its a much improved picture! Even the dogs have braved it and been out! Happy Xmas all

    Wow ...wing gusting to 50 and running at 30, feels like we are getting a pasting here now. pressure is still going down at 982mb, still warm at over 10 degrees. Definitely howling out there now!

    Gusting 43 here, pressure still dropping at 993 and temp still going up at 10.9 now. Also a little more rain. ......Oh happy Christmas!!!!

    Picking up here now as well. gusting to 39 mph, pressure has started to drop rapidly again, down to 1001, interestingly the temperature is still rising , at 10.4 now! No rain just yet but very grey sky.

    Coast/all - yes its gusting at 35mph already and we are a way off the main event! Pressure steady at 1005 for the last hour......

    Morning! Windy on the Eastbourne Coast, gusting at 20mph , pressure is tumbling down to 1005 , with light showers!

    Morning - down to 3.5 here just off the beach , no rain overnight and a nice crisp morning with blue sky.
