Looks like Kent will be slapped late in the afternoon by that heavy band moving South across East Anglia. Joker by name and nature then. -

Looks like this could effect more than just the far East of Kent if it doesn't fizzle out over the Thames The sky is looking very dark over the river from where I am in Rochester// -

Morning After reading several pages this morning; and the obvious disappointment. I have to say the novices who joined the site recently for the 'snow watch' are 'our own worst enemy'! I am sure there are a lot of people like me who have only clung on to every post that mentioned heavy snow in the South East and ignored anything else. I have even moved the location of where I actually live a few times in complete denial or just 'wishful thinking' depending on which location looked most favourable lol. I scour all the weather forecasts and only want to believe the ones with the snow symbol. So who is to blame?. -

Got up in the night around 3am to see if we had snow (Rainham, Kent). I was excited to see a really good covering (I wont guess a measurement as I know how particular you lot are), but roads, pavements everything covered. Woke up eagerly at 6.30 to look outside and nothing on the road or pavements it had melted and the only evidence still on the cars and grass! Really disappointed. Fed up now, got totally obsessed with this site, spent far too much time on it and 'snow watching', gonna get a grip now and get on with real life. lol -
Horrible heavy cold rain here in Rain....ham, Kent. Hopefully Snow....ham tomorrow. P.s I am one of those who hang on and totally believe the 'several inches of snow over Kent'. And unfortunately have believed far too much on this site in the last couple of days and now have very dissapointed kids but I'm learning.....lol.

I am confused.... the confiedence on this forum (which I have enjoyed) and the Net Weather forecast shows Gillingham Kent where I am, to be getting snow with 90% confidence from Sunday onwards infact most of next week. However BBC Weather and Met Weather are showing nothing for my location? Who should I go with? -
