  24. This is a plant thats growing in our front garden at the moment. It has 8 flowers this year, last year just three, with about 20 different ones coming out of the ground. We consulted a garden centre and they told us it was known as the 'dead-dog plant' in its native exotic land. The most unusual part is the smell - as yu can imagine, of a dead animal. Its horendous! The other morning sitting 10 meters from it, in another room to the one its just outside the window too, this horrific smell came over me. It has a large shiny purple erm, thing, coming out of a spherical kind of capsule, where beetles seem to be lured, then cannot escape. If anyone has any extra info about it, or knows a website with more information on, I'd love to hear from yu!
