Just watched the BBC weather and they said storm Eunice will be windy with 60/70 MPH gusts around possible , no where near as severe as the charts we have been viewing especially around the South west, are they viewing different data ?

According to met app and bbc app that’s my snow done now out of this cold spell, roll on spring please
I wouldn’t worry what the apps say, they have been totally wrong for me, had me down for zero snow on the met app this morning for all day today and it hasn’t stopped snowing all day, They have both been way off with precipitation and temperature .

Don’t forget that Dutch radar is 1 hour ahead of us

Getting closer, love this part seeing snow reports slowly creep toward your location
That’s not creeping towards Chelmsford ! You need to look in the North Sea to see what snow you may receive if any

Bit of a downgrade, haven't seen the entire 18Z run yet, but the latest UKV pushes the heavier snow to extreme eastern parts of Essex, North Kent looks the sweet spot right now.
That being said, 6-9cm would be the best estimate from 02:00 Sunday until 18:00 Monday for much of south Essex.
Thanks Tom
hopefully it can push 10/20 miles further west

Hi Tom
have you got an estimate for snow depths for around Brentwood/Billericay areas ?
thanks

This Dutch 24 hour radar animation has 99% of the region under snow tomorrow https://www.buienradar.nl/nederland/neerslag/buienradar/24uurs
I’ve been monitoring this radar all day, it looks great for the whole SE doesn’t it

Hi Matt
out of all the precipitation charts with which most are still showing different outcomes from tonight/ tomorrow what would you say would be the best and most reliable at this timeframe ? As quite a lot now have my location (Brentwood slightly to west and north) as I still see some which have me in with a good shout for a decent covering still.
thanks

Just looked at numerous models and it seems to be less of a feature than want I was hoping and doesn’t get far in land, where I live in Brentwood only get the scraps which is accurate to what the Met office now has me down for (was 6 hours of heavy snow then 5 of light snow) now it’s only a few hours of light snow and then a few hours of dry. Tomorrow night there’s seems to be more of a chance with showers and streamers.
still time for upgrades though f

24 hour Dutch radar looks good for most of region, but not sure how much accuracy can be told by that
That’s looks very good

Possibly wrong thread but not sure I understand the logic of Meto putting a snow warning out on Friday through to Wednesday and then on text forecast say mainly dry Wednesday.
Why even issue any warnings for Wednesday when even today the warnings are very likely to be adjusted for Sunday.
In many ways even the warning for Tuesday possibly a little dubious for the entire region splattered with the warning.
Hi Hammer
I believe the warnings are for ice as well as snow, so the warning for Wednesday with temps below freezing ice will become a real issue, I expect warnings to increase for ice/snow on Thursday as well.
On a side note, Another 3 points for us later ⚒⚒
Edit : I see someone else responded
