Nice to see some sunshine!!!!!! Talking to my next door,this morning, about how nice it was to see a bit of Blue Sky. Then the conversation went like this……'yeah it is nice, better make the most of it" "Why??" i said. "Well, Greg( her chap she's seeing) and the other Farmers are saying, after Christmas we are going to have 3 months of really cold and Snowy Weather, so i thought i might start to get a few things in, you know,sack of Potatoes, U.H.T Milk, a few more Tin stuff and some Flower, to make some Bread" I'm speechless, my Eyes have popped out of my head and all i could say was "WHAT???!!!!,REALLY??????!!!!!!!!" "Yeah, thats what they are all saying"she said…. Im thinking, i've just looked on the MOD thread and all i've read for Days and Days (apart from the caravaning, handbags at Dawn and I'm right, your wrong!!! kinda stuff ) is Mild, Mild, Mild, for what seams like forever and and ever………Monday Mornings, don't you just love them!…... OR, over the Hill, Bruton way, they knows whats what….them there Farmers. Que Twilight Zone Music.

This Madden Chap is what can only be described as an irritant, like the warnings you see on the back of some chemicals!! Completely sensationalizes our winter, and charges people for the privilege. The amount of friends of mine, that know I take a keen interest in the weather, keep saying oh have you seen the daily express today, I instantly tell them they are better off licking the end of their finger, poking it in the air and guessing what the weather will be like this winter, rather than reading that dribble.
Anyway, rant over, nice layer of frost on the car, shed and garages this morning. Currently beautifully sunny outside, none to warm though.
Thats what i thought,the trouble is people take what he's saying as Red…… Bless them.

All the Farmers have been saying,this Winter will be bad.....so they say,round ere! Also this Madden chap( who in the hell is he???!!!) If you read his stuff, the UK, is going to go into Melt down!! All we can do is hope that we get a dose of the White Stuff

So Cold!! I wonder if this late Cold weather means we will get a decent Summer????? Blooming well hope so! Went into the shed the other day,looked at the Sledge and thought, wonder if it will get one more outing?

No Snow over night and in the end,after all the Snow we had yesterday,only a dusting. Must have warmed up last night,cars not so much ice on them and most of the Snow,that was on them,has now gone!

Bitter cold wind! Stopped Snowing, Mini and Pathfinder covered in light Snow and frozen solid!

Just had a look on the Winter Model boffins page........i was feeling brave! Looks like some thing will be going on at the end of Feb

No nothing settled,a little stuck to the branches but nice lot of Snow falling back then,about 1pm.Sods law while I'm in Bristol :-( any news on that disturbance that was showing up for Tuesday across region?

Snowing!!!! has been on and off since 12.45. Have been up on the Mendips,on way back home from Wells,nice Snowfall up there.
