On our trip back home from Scotland we had all sorts of weather from rain, sleet and then heavy snow once we hit Cumbria. At one stage we were driving at 30 mph. Once back in Merseyside it was rain as usual. Heres some pics i took in scotland/cumbria from the car

Heavy snow here on m6. We not far from Penrith

we just left Edinburgh and hit snow. Heading down towrds Glaagow now on motorway aa a better road. Sleeting now and gritters are out in force. Just hit snow again

It is freezing here in Edinburgh. Frost on the cars and gritters out. Just defrosting after a cold walk home from the pub

Cold and wet here im Edinburgh. Motorway signs were giving warnings of snow and ice. Just seen met office warnings and it not for here. Booo !!!

We got up to about 13 degrees today. Was lovely. Is now raining. Have pork goulash cooking for tea mmm
