Can someone tell me or point me in the right direction for info on ssw and qtr?
When do we know if we're going to have a qtr? Are the models pocking it up now, hence the wobbles in the models?

Hi Ashme, yes you're right I'm on my phone . I just tried turning it landscape but still doesn't show any locations. Thanks for helping though .

Can you say where you are based with your it's snowing comments . Just be good to see the areas affected.
Assuming you're on your phone, turn it landscape. It'll show their location next to their names

Temperature dropped by almost a degree under a small shower then and it's not even dark yet! Maybe we could be getting some snow this evening in the showers?
No showers here and also dropped 1° to 5° in the last hour. Dp still 5° though

Hey gang, I may not be no expert, but I do know a cold GEFS 6z when I see one..and some of these members make me go weak at the knees..now I may be a drunken autistic git..but I’ve been here for 15 years so I think my drunken opinion counts for something..did I mention I’m a Spurs fan?..probably way too much information..just look at that mean for 7th Jan..just look at it in awe!..
You we're doing so well...........right up to the Spurs fan bit!!!! Haha.
Thanks to you and all the other (too many to list) knowledgeable posters in here as I have learnt so much these past few weeks.

@inghams85 (sorry, don't know what this is. Can't delete it! )
Just for fun............like many on here, I lurk here for hours on end and never post. (Can't read models well enough to add anything noteworthy)
Does anyone else get so wrapped up in this thread that when the Mrs asks what's the weather doing tomorrow, you haven't got a clue!!!
But you can tell them the possibilities of 7 days time!! Haha
Great group, very informative, lots of bants and lots of pretty pictures (jokes)
Merry xmas to you all, hope we get some of what the models are showing (not all of it though!)

Some cells just developed near me in Taunton, we had a brief shower and it didn't equate to much. The cells seem to be intensifying a bit though.
Which direction Liam? N I presume?

That channel storm looks like its going N/NE! It was looking like it would head for me in Somerset!! Oh well! Good luck to the rest of you, stay safe

Wiltshire and Dorset and Somerset and North East Somerset and Gloucestershire is still the met office yellow warning for thunderstorms.
That's because there's no one working this time of night at the Met to have changed it

Absolutely chucking it down here in Ilminster

I'm a bit confused with what's going on tonight? Will we see anything in S Somerset? I've done the stupid thing and told my boy I'd wake him tonight when thunderstorms start but I can't see anything that suggest we'll get it here

Just had about 10 large rumbles, no lightning to be seen and probably 10 large raindrops!! So close!!!!

Clouds seem to be building to my E S/E. Radar showing a fairly big shower incoming but no seferics showing on the radar yet
