    Good Morning all. Snowing quite heavily here in Grimsby at the moment. Had another covering in the night so now have approx 6cms. Not bad for this area. Temps not been too bad - a low of -1.6C, currently -0.7C

    Thunderstorm overhead in Grimsby. Pretty active and heavy rain.

    Storm just passing now over Grimsby and heading approx south into Lincolnshire. Very heavy rain and plenty of lightning and crackling thunder.

    Covering of snow here in Grimsby plus a couple of long showers of light snow. 0.3 low overnight. Not bad for 6m asl.

    Thunder and lightning plus very heavy rain here in Grimsby for the last 2 hours. Finally clearing away with just an occasional rumble.

    Night time low of -4.8C, high today of -1.6C but now already -4.1C. About 2 - 2.5 inches of level snow with some areas much deeper. Looks like being a cold night.

    Just had another 20 minute very heavy snow shower in Grimsby. About 3/4cms lying now though would have been more without the slow thaw we've had between showers. High of 1.5C today though 0.5C now.

    Got about 2cms snow this morning here in Grimsby and now heavy snow and sky solid grey all the way to the coast. Temp currently 0.5C after a low of 0.0C.

    Heavy snow started in Grimsby at 11.05pm then one flash of lightening with thunder almost immediately at 11.15pm. Still snowing but no more thunder.

    Snow showers in Grimsby through the day but now heavy with a thin covering. Also had thunder/lightning at 11.15pm.

    Heavy grain snow at 4.30 given a light dusting here in Grimsby. Temp 2.4C. Clear skies now but... fingers crossed.

    Grimsby 0.3oC and rising after a low of -3.1oC. Started clear but cloudy now.

    Bitterly cold - 1.6oC - strong winds and heavy snow showers.

    Just started snowing in Grimsby. Fairly heavy and settling, everywhere turning white. Current temp. 0.0C and windy.
