Im absolutely astonished!!!!i thought ecm was as far south as we are gona go but ukmo goes one further!!as it stands anyone into central midlands into yorkshire should be ready for some disruption!!but wouldnt surprise me if it ends up further south!!
I’m assuming for my region , Nottingham , I don’t want it any further south then ?
-
Talk that is moved 100 miles north ? Surely that’s a good thing for Midlands / South Yorkshire regards snow ?

At the moment the midlands and east anglia look a bullseye for snow for sunday into monday!!further north its all about the convective thundersnow from the north sea!!!
I’m 65 miles inland from the wash in north Nottinghamshire 8 miles south of Mansfield and when I’ve been looking it seems to be very marginal unless I’m reading it all wrong !
Fingers crossed- 1

Seems to be more of a south / south east event unless I’m reading it all incorrectly ?
my area 65 miles inland from the wash ( North Nottinghamshire)seems to be in the verge of missing out on any snow ?

What’s the chances of South Yorkshire / north Nottinghamshire - 65 miles inland from the wash - missing out on the snow event !
seems to be more and more of a chance looking at the models and more concentrated in the south and south east ?
-
Maybe I’m reading these incorrectly but North Nottinghamshire / Derbyshire ( 65 miles inland from the wash ) seems to be on the verge of missing any accumulation of snow ?

Dry as is the normal for north Nottinghamshire

Has the potential for snow shifted further North these last few runs or am I reading it completely wrong !?!?
Only a few days ago North midlands didn’t really come into the reckoning but the last few runs maybe taken this to more northern areas ?please correct me if I’m completely wrong !

GFS continues the cold to very cold theme for next week, anybody who has no snow
in their part of the woods next week will be very unlucky.
Maybe I’m seeing wrongly but my area - North Nottinghamshire seems to be the missing out area !!

Looking at the charts I can't see the north Midlands being affected at all this evening
any thoughts ?

Models all see to show today's front stalling just south of here. That would really top it off
How far north is it showing ?
We had very little yesterday and last night apart from the wind here in north Nottinghamshire
-
So any indications yet as to how far north this system may reach before heading off west ?
feeling north Nottinghamshire may be just too far north
-
Does this low system seem to be a lot further east than originally predicted or am I miss reading the charts ?!?!?

Am I right in thinking the band on the south coast is much further east and still moving north and building east as we speak, this wasn't what was forecast was it?
Was just going to mention that too and see opinions of others
seems to be a lot further east than was predicted ??
-
What's it looking like for north Nottinghamshire today and tomorrow?
struggling to work these latest charts as to how far north and east the event goes
-
Overnight approx 4 inches in north nottinghamshire
