Rain drops keep falling on my head despite there being next to no cloud cover directly above me. Meanwhile the fishies are getting quite fed up of this.

I love days like today, scorching with scenic cu filled sky. Only an apocalyptic thunderstorm can beat it.
Also possible convergence zone in mid wales this evening?. Wishful thinking.

Storms that change direction often have some circulation.
Allseasons-si mentioned that is was a wall cloud. It had plenty of motion to it (right to left in the pic), compared with the relatively slow moving storm. Also found a nice screen grab from a video taken earlier.
