Just noticed this, they have Dartmoor forecast for a good few hours of light snow. Bbc even got Ashburton forecast for 2 hours heavy snow - http://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/2656977 Probably be removed soon.

Different story today, cold grey and drizzly. Current temp 4.7C. Yesterday was clear blue skies!

I think we may have beaten a record, so many opportunities of a snow event that have all gone pear shaped last minute. Nice day today anyway, blue skies and 6.6C.

This may be your case, but many of us haven't seen no more than a dusting, some have only witnessed sleet. So to have this opportunity to even see a covering or snow fall would be pleased by many, particularly Cornwall and Devon. I would be happy with 5cm cover haha.

As Ian mention earlier we aren't out of the woods yet with another concern for the beginning of next week and still Friday is highly uncertain, so IMO Easter weekend looking full of potential. Im still in hope for a white easter, then i'd be more than happy to say goodbye to winter.

Had an hour this morning with a few snow grains blowing in the wind, not much at all and quite disappointing as I've only seen a patchy dusting this winter last month. Been very cold though.
