    I’ve lived in Surrey 53 years and didn’t hear the term Surrey Hills until a few years ago!! I always think it’s weird as it seems quite flat around here!!!! I never know where it actually is!!!

    After the 2010 event we bought one of these! We were stuck in our lane for weeks (steep little lane) Buying that Put the kibosh on our chances on any snow since, it’s my fault!

    I’ve stayed in Drumnadrochit a few times on holiday it’s a lovely area, we now holiday on the West Coast in a tiny village called Shieldaig but will probably need to live nearer a city/town for business! It’s a gorgeous (and at times snowy country!!) x

    Morning all! Have had a few days break from here trying to sort Mum and dads house out and online house shopping in Scotland! Just looking at one to the north of the Cairngorms! Am I wrong to get a bit excited that a single snow flake has appeared on the Meto forecast!? (I know not to take it too literally!) haven’t seen a flake here, last year or this! ?Farnham, Surrey) not one flake has been forecast on meto this year for here! Do I dare hope!!

    I hate to be do despondent but what an awful night, if anything apart from rain fell it was very wet snow/sleet and had no chance, very wet here (Farnham), Surrey) all night, just rubbish temps after a hopeful start! if you have snow, enjoy it! X temp 5.9 dp 5.5

    We don’t like the heat so Scotland is good for us, never thought I’d move but with mum and dad both dying end of last year we are selling up both properties and moving, at least we might see some snow! And it’s quieter, Surrey is so full of people now, my family have lived in this house for 200 years so it’s a huge decision! But we are doing it!!!
