Evening everyone its a very warm (I have the windows open!) 9.3 here in Farnham, Surrey, I’m expecting a lovely day of heavy rain tomorrow! Not even a sleet shower symbol showing!!

I do hate to be the pessimist but I haven’t seen a flake for 2 years now and every chart I see appears to miss us out! (Farnham, Surrey) I must admit I’ve loved a cold spell but It’s been such a hard year is it too much to ask to see at least a bit of snow fall!?? my mum loved snow and I promised we’d attempt to get her out in it (she was almost bedridden) now she’s gone I’d like to be able to go out in it for her! still, this time next year fingers crossed Scotland!! sorry (feeling a bit fed up tonight!!)

Morning, I’m not Getting out of bed this morning!! It’s chilly!! Not our lowest temp but with all the freezing, foggyness it feels colder! Beautiful though temp -0.7 dp -1.4 Farnham, Surrey

Our house is very small, an old cottage, we burn the fire 24/7 we are biting old chairs at the moment!! Makes me sound like a dickens character!! It’s amazing how you can get used to it!! I did get my daughter (22 and normally at uni) an oil rad for her bedroom as she could see her breath!!!!

We haven’t had a boiler (heating) for the whole winter! We are moving (to Scotland) next year and a developer will probably buy my houses so there’s no point in having one put in! We have a huge open fire and we wear a lot!!

Temperatures are dropping really slowly here in Farnham, Surrey! temp 1.9 dp 1 im guessing none of aforementioned blobs will reach me!! Still I’ve just made naan breads so I’m covered in flour which is white! Does that count!??

Afternoon all its a cold one here today (grey and cold!) I’m happy with that (even with no heating!!) (Farnham, Surrey) Temp 0.8 Dp -0.1 can’t see it happening but I’m praying for the precipitation to keep going and come down here, saw no snow at all last year and it would be so lovely to see a bit falling from the sky! Morning, not as cold as I thought it would be this morning in the west of our region (Farnham, surrey) Temp 0.1 dp -0.8 as a lay person trying to understand charts etc what I don’t get is how (this close to the time period) the charts can show snow in our area tonight (early tomorrow) is it really that hard to forecast? Is it that it’s literally impossible to know what’s going to happen with the precipitation/temps. have a good/safe day Sue x

How are you @lassie23? it’s so hard, I found it was good to crack on with stuff (I have a house full of stuff to sort!) my parents died in the house (is been their carer for years so I got rid of all the medical equipment etc! That made things a bit better! But If you just feel like doing nothing that’s ok too!! Lots of love Sue x
