i predict theres going to be mass disappointment, as ever people are getting wound up, excited over possible fi synoptics. i cant see much out of the ordinary...yes it will get colder, the synoptics might deliver something wintry by the end of the month....
or
it might simply not happen. we might be left in a westerly/wet chilly regime.
northern blocking in early december was predicted on here, whether that produces a cold spell or 'below average' remains to be seen, and it might just as easily disperse as easily as build.
the heavy snow and gales are coming.

people live in Scotland you knowUnless things have changed? not much a do unless you're possibly in the far NW and parts of Scotland, where some frontal bands of rain, associated with occasional gusty winds, may well remain in situ. Nothing stormy expected at this stage I do believe.
Elsewhere, temps slightly above normal again and maybe the odd passing shower. Especially nearer windward facing coasts.

Quite surprised at the lack of interest on this topic maybe because it's not down south ? Paul Hudson gave a warning out for yorkshire for dangerous winds
