    Cloud and more cloud in MK with drizzle for a chunk of the morning. I hope the cloud breaks up, but it's still thick here.

    Lovely day. The nearly clear June evenings are great. But more rain please, I have a new water butt to fill. I won't even start on the lack of storms. Here is post sunset (updated to a 22:30 pic), looking north. The actual sunset was nice but my phone failed to pick it up properly.

    I am hoping for it to go North West. Although the chance of anything getting up here is poor. The sky has been sludgy all afternoon.

    Just had a light rain shower in MK. I think the rain radar was picking up moisture instead of rain as we should have had drizzle since 2pm, but it was dry until just after 2:30pm.

    Red sky at night, shepherds delight. I prefer: Red sky at night, would like some flashes tonight. I must stop looking at the enticing radar.

    Still 26(possibly +.5) Here in East London/Essex. The land level breeze is coming from the north east with lots of high cloud.

    Feels humid in East London, with a warm breeze. The little outdoor thermometer reads 26.

    A small but heavy shower just passed over me. Seemed like it could develop into something going up into Essex.

    Distant thunder in East London and I can't see any flashes, the very active storm is a little too far, might get a glimpse after it crosses the river Thames. Dark patch to my the left in North London (apparently no storm) and right in Essex. I noticed half a swirl in the cloud.

    My dad just told me the aviation forecast is storms in Southend 2-6am (I think). Heathrow is 9-1pm. I am currently roughly halfway between and hoping storms if any arrive after 7am.

    It feels like it has been October since October. I am looking forward to Friday and the forecast (will be in East London rather than bland in MK). Storm or two please.

    These were the ones looking north east this evening. I have a near identical shot.. Lol (different foreground though)

    Looking south from MK to the rain near Luton. I only heard one rumble today. Hoping sunset illuminates the anvils before they die away.

    I get to see the shower (hoping for storm) clouds drift across Northants (from South in MK) today. Fingers crossed for more interesting ones.
