The rain cloud over Northampton (allegedly former light storm according to the radar) dying out but still looking interesting.
An approx. 20 minute time gap.
All dry in MK again, so I cut the grass.
I saw council staff picking the berries near my parents doctors on Weds. Must have had more sense than yours...lol (although I don't think that is classed as working). It is dry here today and I am just recovering after the weekly grass cut. A few light showers dotted about. It canrain now.Dry tomorrow please as we are at the Little Gransden airshow.
I did see a flew flashes from it in the end and my camera failed to capture another forked line across the sky. At least I got to see something.I see brighter sky coming now.
I have heard three distant rumbles in east London. Set to go out soon, so hope I have an excuse to stay in and watch a storm (and hope my mum doesn't scream and scare my toddler...lol)
Ear plugs and eye mask? Hopefully you won't get anything. It is so calm here (in eastern London). I am looking forward to a storm, but here at my parents, my mum is scared of them like you.
I have given up hope of anymore storms up here. Have missed a few 20 miles to the north or south over the last couple of weeks.
I am actually looking forward to the rain as we have only had a couple of light sprinkles in weeks, not even a shower.
