Lightning at 5:00am this morning. Quite close, maybe only a few miles away. About 6in snow, maybe more in places this morning

A few flakes of snow just now. 7oC, humidity at 60% and dropping.

I predicted 10cm and I think we barely got 1cm in the good places. Ah well

Some flakes have arrived here. Ground is dry so it might lie. Don't think it will last long though, just a shower.

I'm going to say 10cm for near Lisburn at 200m

Squally hailstones this morning woke me up. Closed my eyes again and a flash of lightning came through my lids. Quite exciting.

Getting pummelled by rain and wind. Wind is much stronger than it was last night. It's coming in from a different direction. Last night we were sheltered by trees but now it's coming in straight from across Lough Neagh.

Merry Christmas all! Snowing here the past 30mins. Really big flakes and quite heavy at times. 2.4 degrees.

It's officially snowing now. Ground is turning white. 1.7 degrees.

2.6 degrees here. It can't decide whether to snow or rain. It's really trying hard to snow.

Woke up to a bit of a dusting. At least a cm if not a little more in places. Was in the clouds for a while there. Brightening up now and the sun is shinning with blue skies.

It's snowing up here. Was sleet, but now turned to very wet large flakes. Edit: ....... it's finished
