Tentative signs of RI on the Sat LOOP over the last hr or so. I've also heard that the METO are hinting that things will be worst than forecast as there 06Z model shows slightly stronger and more widespread winds.

for one tend to go away during summer as I find it boring. I love the 20 or so pages per model run and love fantasising about FI charts. Imaginative use of smilies also helps :-)

I agree with that,Summer is great with the odd thunderstorm i dont like rain, comes from being made to work in it when i was an apprentice !! i love N.W. in the winter never stop reading. keep up the good work maybe i`ll post again when we get the threats of 1 inch of snow and the country stands still !! Back to reading !!

[Have we actually Forgotten what cold is]

Talking about memories and cold, i remember in `81 i was a fireman (pc nowadays ) firefighter, and went to a car fire at a place in south derbyshire called spring cottage ! it was that cold the water from the hose reel dripped down your hand holding it and froze on your gloves ! we then had to go back to station a different way and dig out the first pump that had got stuck in snow drifts down a lane !!
