    Sorry about that Peter, It's just the snow wasn't that thick on the webcam on the grassy area in front of the castle, perhaps saying wet was the wrong word.     Peter, How far are you from Inverness Castle, the webcam looks like there has been some (wet) snow there, much better than than the sleety rain we've had down here.

    Local Weather Centre to me has recorded a gust of 84mph, But the wind is a lot lighter now, but there has been some very heavy rain today.

    J10 posted a topic in Weather reports

    In the south of the UK, it seems to be very dry at the moment, and with no major rainfall on the forecasts, can members tell me the last time they received any significant rain. We had some at the start of August and a little last Sunday night but apart from that, about 13/14 dry days in the month. Are there any members who have no rain at all this month, or alternatively were hit by the storms last weekend. Cheers
