Dew point still 2 here. I can't see it coming down enough to produce anything tomorrow, despite Met Office's insistence I'll get at least light snow. I still think it's brilliant so many of us got to see decent snow today but I hope there's another event soon and I see some too

i'm looking at the radar, watching a small pink blob, hoping i might catch 10 minutes of light sleet... how sad is that
Same. And I've been shamelessly stood at my back door with torch on my head trying to see sleet ?

That doesn't match up to GFS which is forecasting heavy snow tomorrow
Excellent! Really hoping the GFS proves correct, then. I'm so snow-starved it's painful - jinxed everything by buying a snow brush for the car in 2013 ?

Currently enjoying the most pathetically light sleet imaginable. Have to turn your head to the side and squint. Kiddo is delighted ?

Rain has stopped and temps are slowly creeping down again. Met Office forecast isn't loading now but BBC weather has changed tomorrow's light snow to sleet.

We forecasters love to tempt fate...
9z UKV in ups the snow totals for a line from E Berks to S Suffolk tomorrow, could be 5-7cm or so on that.
Could you just jinx Farnham for me please?

I've still got light snow in the forecast for tomorrow but I think I'll just have to look for the next event now. Seeing everyone's snow photos gives me a chance to live vicariously ?

Wind's picking up a bit where I am, temp 5.5 and DP 6

So your forecast was for rain and you got rain, lol. That's not really a downgrade then is it? Good luck for later though.
I didn't mean what I am currently getting was a downgrade! ? Forecast for later is currently downgraded
ETA: just reread what I originally wrote and I could've worded it better ?

What was the forecast for 9am? - that is for later so how can you know yet, there is still a long line of precipitation stretched over Ireland to come
Forecast for this morning was for rain, so totally expected. I'll be delighted if we get something proper later but not holding my breath. Temps slowly creeping down, though.

I'm chuffed to see so many people in the region getting proper snow! Jealous, obviously, but nice that it's not just been hogged by regions that do better than we usually do.

Still wet here in Farnham, Surrey not a flake or even an icy splat yet! ?
Absolute garbage, isn't it?! Temp 3.4, DP 3. Snow still forecast for later but a bit of a downgrade. I'll believe it when I see it.
-
Sleet! Proper sleet too.

Here I’m Binfield we have sleet falling. No doubt it’ll be rain soon
I'm a bit south from you, about 45 mins away. Nothing here at all but I've brought a torch up to bed with me to try to see something ? Desperate, moi?
-
Still nothing falling here so off to bed. Forecast reckons it should be snowing now so I don't hold out much hope for its accuracy for tomorrow ? Don't think I've ever invested so much emotion in a few flakes before! Night, all...good luck for everyone tomorrow!

Everything downgraded again to all sleet for me on Monday. Dew point still 2, which is annoying me to unfeasible levels now ?
