  1. Based on radar I would have assumed members on the north coast should be receiving some snow?
  2. Hopefully the last two conditions are not met next week but it looks like a week of nowcasting in the regionals. The last week of posts have been enthralling and informative, thank you. Hopefully the 18z output throws another spanner in the works to keep us all glued
  3. Things do look messy for the start of December, I do see some of our local members commenting on the MOD thread, hopefully they can enlighten us in here with their thoughts
  4. Amber warning issued by MO covering south eastern part of NI, wet week ahead
  5. Potential for the first big storm of 2023 on Wednesday as an area of low pressure approaches. Various warnings already issued with the track of the low to still be determined
  6. I didn’t think today and this evening was bad for the 18th December, warmer than usual
  7. Credit to the MetO, amber warning definitely required, snow drifts and about 8” covering on roads here
  8. There looks like a few more hours of it, it’s tuned to light snow flakes here, if it was heavy precipation I would be buried here
  9. This big red mass looks to be heading your way, showing green for sleet at the minute but fingers crossed
  10. For my location, MetO has been showing heavy snow from 12 for the past couple of days
  11. This finest snow is starting with us at Nutts Corner yes MS, taking an age to move any reports from the south?
  12. MetO have updated the warning curtailing the northern extent but still keeping NI within a yellow warning, I would have thought reading the text we would have been upgraded to amber due to the timings of snow fall with home time traffic
  13. This feature definitely looks further north to my totally untrained eye
  14. With Sat24 you can watch and track movements on a wide scale
  15. The count down is well and turley on to tomorrow’s feature arriving, will it won’t it snow For my location just outside Belfast it’s knife edge based on current modelling
  16. Parts of the country could get a proper pasting based on the 18z
  17. Interesting week coming up, kicking off tomorrow night into Tuesday with temps down as low as -5, Tuesday into Wednesday temps down to possible -7, snow forecasted and a generally chilly week
  18. Finally we have snow, thick heavy and laying, hopefully those others seeing the snow drought get a taste
  19. Nothing, zilch, nadda, nout, naffin…..that’s what my snow measuring device is reading. Liking the photos guys, you’s always do well from PM flow, showers completely disintegrating before getting anywhere close to my location
  20. It’s like a ghost town in here, thought with the prospect of snow and ice there would be a bit of a buzz anyways, something to wet the appetite attached
