  1. We won't get drizzle we'll probably just get heavy rain, that's all I'm expecting currently.
  2. Just watched the latest BBC Weather Forecast and showed more action towards the western side of the UK rather than the E. It's looking like eastern people are getting a little overexcited right now.
  3. That's wrong. I'm not included and look at the CAPE forecast for me.
  4. Hi there guys, I've been having this issue for an incredibly long time now and I see no way of fixing this problem. If any of you own the sandaysoft software 'Cumulus' and you own a Davis weather station, you may fully well know about this problem that is so irritating. Sometimes, when a wind gust is recorded the value goes up afterwards. This causes the wind graph to sometimes not show the high gust at the given time. It seems that it's not really to do with Cumulus but it does in a way because Cumulus doesn't use the Davis DLL WeatherLink does and this is due to the stubborn developer. So, basically what happens is that sometimes after a wind gust is recorded on the Davis Vantage Vue console the figure goes up about a minute afterwards between 1 - 5 mph. Although, sometimes it doesn't and it sometimes depends on the wind direction. Mainly this issue happens out of SE, SSE, S and SSW winds. I don't know if any of you are experiencing/experienced the problem. I have heard it may be something to do with the Davis DLL but I'm not sure. Here is an example of today for instance: The highest gust today was 21 mph at 14:54 and as you can see from the wind graph, there is no 21 mph to be seen, only 20 mph is the highest shown.
  5. To be quite honest with you, I'm not going to look at the charts anymore. I'm just going to radar watch later tomorrow because these charts are driving me insane. One day it looks great for me and another day not so good. So, my saying is: "If the charts ain't look good, just watch the radar".
  6. Looks like SW England could see something at least tomorrow evening at Saturday morning. Nothing like E England but still good enough.
  7. Just had some heavy rain here. Absolutely horrible out there. Thank god this is not going to last much longer.
  8. Moderate rain here and feeling actually cold in the wind and rain.
  9. Lots of thunderstorms over Central S England if none of you have noticed. Lucky buggers!
  10. I mean I don't mind showers but for me showers have to be at least heavy to be interesting. I hate these showers that look menacing and black and then come over and give a load of cruddy light rain. I was joking! The drops were so big I thought it was!
  11. Just had some of the biggest rain drops I have ever seen. The shower itself was incredibly light but the drops were the size of snowflakes!
  12. They've included the Scilly Isles, as if that is going to make much difference.
  13. Just had another rain shower, here. This time less heavy but some very strong wind gusts associated with it.
  14. Can see a growing cumulus congestus cloud nearly in the stages of cumulonimbus to my WNW.
  15. Defenitely looks like I could be more at risk of seeing some thunderstorms later on Friday and Saturday with more CAPE and lower Lifted Index.
  16. Just had a heavy rain shower here. The drops were massive.
  17. But nothing much here Sam. This is just typical. Great even down here? Except Monday morning or Friday morning, bring it on.
  18. Well said. To me, Friday evening and Saturday look like to be the only days that I could get any thundery weather. Especially, Friday evening with a Lifted Index of -4 in the area. Who knows?
